Meso-Therapy Treatment Overview
Micro needling is a minimally-invasive, proven technique used to stimulate deep tissue repair. Penetrating the dermis, the tiny needles prick the skin, creating channels that allows a cocktail of high potency actives to be delivered deep below the skin surface, increasing blood flow and activating the growth of new cells and collagen production. The actives used are tailored according to our client’s specific needs.
To take advantage of its immediate brightening effect, we can also incorporate a milder treatment of micro-needling within our facials.
Skin condition: skin laxity, mild acne scarring, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), enlarged pores, dull complexion, textural irregularities
Smoother skin, tighter pores and skin, scarring reduction, clearer and brighter complexion

What is micro-needling?
Micro needling is a minimally-invasive, proven technique used to stimulate deep tissue repair. Penetrating the dermis, the tiny needles prick the skin, creating channels that allows a cocktail of high potency actives to be delivered deep below the skin surface, increasing blood flow and activating the growth of new cells and collagen production. Microneedling is effective for treating texture irregularities, scarring and wrinkles. It is appropriate for all skin types and is associated with minimal downtime.
How does micro-needling work?
Micro-needling (derma-pen, derma-stamp or meso-therapy – your aesthetician will be able to recommend the most appropriate MN treatment) stimulates new collagen production, which helps to tighten the skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles as well as significantly improve appearance of acne scars, and other skin irregularities.
Pre-treatment Advice and Treatment Duration
The skin is cleansed thoroughly before treatment and an anaesthetic cream will be applied to skin before treatment to reduce any discomfort.
The treatment is safe and effective on all skin types, as there is no light emitted into the skin to stimulate the production of melanin directly.
We recommend a course of 4 treatments, at 4-6 weekly intervals.
Unlike some traditional anti-ageing technologies, there is minimal downtime with micro-needling and radio frequency treatment combination.
Some redness post treatment is normal, which will disappear within 24 hours. Makeup should be avoided for at least 24 hours after treatment.
We recommend wearing an SPF30+ sunscreen after treatment. For topical aftercare please consult with your aesthetician.
We offer a complimentary consultation and patch test at our Bristol Clinic.
Are you unsure of which treatment would be the most appropriate for YOUR skin? Your aesthetic therapist will be delighted to help you decide on the day of your consultation as all treatments are bespoke. Treatments are designed specifically for you and the results you want to achieve.
Most treatments at our laser skin clinic are designed to be taken as a course of 6. However our clients will notice visible results almost straight away (subject to a specific treatment).
